This seventh stage of Tour de France is from Fougeres to Chartres, with a total length of 231 kilometers. It is a flat road stage, which is also the longest stage of the Tour de France this year.



In this stage of the Tour de France,  Dylan Groenewegen (Team Lotto Nl-Jumbo) in the peloton sprinted to force Fernando Gaviria (Quick-step Floors) to win the first victory of the Tour de France, Peter Sagan (Bora-hansgrohe) ranked third.
